TI Automotive helps vehicles manage their liquid assets. The company is one of the largest manufacturers of automotive fluid storage, carrying, and delivery systems. It operates through five product groups: fluid carrying systems, powertrain components, tank systems, pump and module systems, and HVAC fluid systems. TI Auto serves major auto makers and the automotive aftermarket via some 130 locations in about 30 countries. Headquartered in suburban Detroit, TI Automotive operates facilities in 29 countries. In mid-2015, the company was bought by Bain Capital, one of the world's largest investment firms.
